Pope Pushes Open Borders: God Will Destroy ‘Walls’ Between Nations
Pope Francis said that walls between nations cannot endure because God will tear them down in the end.
In a continuing push for ‘open borders,’ the Pontiff seemed to fire a thinly veiled jab at President Donald Trump’s wall, suggesting that walls are ‘closed doors’ to secure wealth.
“We can build any number of walls and close our doors in the vain effort to feel secure in our wealth, at the expense of those left outside. It will not be that way forever,” the pope said.
“The ‘day of the Lord,’ as described by the prophets, will destroy the barriers created between nations and replace the arrogance of the few with the solidarity of many,” Francis added.
“The marginalization painfully experienced by millions of persons cannot go on for long. Their cry is growing louder and embraces the entire earth,” he said.
Francis focused on the growing inequality between the wealthy and the poor.
“The inequitable distribution of wealth created a significant number of poor people, whose condition appeared all the more dramatic in comparison with the wealth attained by a privileged few,” he wrote.
“The economic crisis has not prevented large groups of people from accumulating fortunes that often appear all the more incongruous when, in the streets of our cities, we daily encounter great numbers of the poor who lack the bare necessities of life and are at times harassed and exploited,” he said.
The pope also painted migrants as the victims of exploitation. Read more here
Exorcist bishop pours holy water on ‘evil city’ from helicopter
A CATHOLIC bishop will pour holy water over a city from a helicopter to carry out an “exorcism” on “demons”.
Ruben Dario Jaramillo Montoya wants to use his position as Bishop of Buenaventura, in Columbia, to purge the streets of evil.
Montoya told local radio station Blu Radio: “We want to go around the whole of Buenaventura, from the air, and pour holy water onto it to see if we exorcise and get out all those demons that are destroying our port, so that God’s blessing comes and gets rid of all the wickedness that is in our streets.”
Local media report the National Army support the bishop’s plan and have offered him the use of a helicopter to carry it out.
They are reportedly working with the priest to work out where they will pour the holy water. Read more here

Calls for Cardinal DiNardo to step down intensify ahead of bishops’ gathering
On the eve of a bishops’ gathering in Baltimore, advocates for clergy abuse victims in Houston on called on Cardinal Daniel DiNardo Monday to step down from leading the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops following allegations that he mishandled sexual misconduct complaints.
DiNardo, the highest-ranking American bishop, who also oversees the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, is scheduled to kick off the meeting of Catholic leaders on Tuesday morning as questions intensify in Texas about whether he did enough to prevent sex abuse in his religious jurisdiction or to hold accused priests responsible.
Most recently, DiNardo was alleged to have mishandled a 2016 allegation of sexual misconduct involving Frank Rossi, who was allowed to retire as the archdiocese’s vicar general the following year and transferred to the Diocese of Beaumont to lead a parish in Woodville. The accusation, as detailed in an Associated Press report, accused Rossi of seducing a wealthy benefactor seeking marital counseling — then continuing to hear her confessions. Read more here
Archbishop who called on pope to resign gives 1st interview since self-imposed exile
ROME – In the instant he became one of the most controversial figures in modern Catholic Church history, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò went dark.
The retired Vatican ambassador to Washington wrote a bombshell letter last summer calling on Pope Francis to resign on the grounds that he had tolerated a known sexual abuser. As that letter was published, Viganò turned off his phone, told friends he was disappearing, and let the church sort through the fallout.
Nine months later, in his first extended interview since that moment, Viganò refused to disclose his location or say much about his self-imposed exile. But his comments indicate that, even in hiding, he is maintaining his role as the fiercest critic of the Francis era, acting either as an honorable rebel or, as his critics see it, as an ideological warrior attacking a pope he doesn’t like.
Viganò corresponded by email with The Washington Post over two months, writing 8,000 words in response to nearly 40 questions. He was blistering in his criticism of Francis, saying “it is immensely sad” that the pope was “blatantly lying to the whole world to cover up his wicked deeds.”
The Vatican has had little official response to Viganò. A communications official declined to comment for this story. But Francis last month responded for the first time to Viganò’s summer letter. The pope said he knew “nothing, obviously nothing” about the misconduct of former cardinal Theodore McCarrick and could not remember if he had been personally warned about McCarrick by Viganò in 2013. Viganò claimed to have told Francis that McCarrick had “corrupted generations of seminarians and priests.”
“How could anybody, especially a pope, forget this?” Viganò wrote to The Post. Read more here

The Meat Section is the True Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Milk Section is likened to those who will not preach on sin and Hell, just a feel good message, the Social gospel.
